ASoG Now Accepting Applications for the Master in Public Management Energy Transitions Track
The Ateneo School of Government (ASoG), though the European Union-funded project Access to Sustainable Energy Programme-Clean Energy Living Laboratories (ASEP-CELLs), presents the country’s pioneering track on energy policy, the Master in Public Management Energy Transitions track (MPM-ET).
The MPM-ET is an outstanding choice for students who wish to broaden their knowledge on the cross-disciplinary energy policies, the complex energy transition process, and the roles of various actors involved. This track is designed to contribute to building the capacity of the energy sector in achieving the goals of the Philippines and the European Union of providing 100% rural electrification through renewable energy, ensuring rural electrification and wider energy access, and promoting energy efficiency towards sustainable and inclusive growth. MPM-ET graduates are prepared to take on the challenges as future energy policy analysts, public managers, and civil society advocates who would carry out the long-run mission of transitioning into more sustainable and equitable energy systems. This specialized track consists of three (3) required energy courses and three (3) supplemental courses as seen below. Each of the six (6) electives under the Energy Transitions course cluster corresponds to a major area of learning under energy policy:
Twelve (12) units from the track must be taken by the students to declare a specialization.
