UPDATES Announcement of Results: ASEAN Research Fellows on Advancing Tobacco Taxation in Southeast Asia
Last March 24, 2019, the Ateneo Policy Center, funded by Canada's International Development Research Centre, launched its call for proposal on advancing tobacco taxation in Southeast Asia. The call seeks to grant on research proposals that will add to the knowledge base on illicit trade of tobacco products that will support evidence-based policy dialogue to combat the issue in the ASEAN region. Ateneo School of Government Attends Economics of Tobacco Control Initiative in London, UK.
Last February 19-21, 2019, Dr. Ronald Mendoza, Dean of the Ateneo School of Government (ASoG), and Ariza Francisco, Ateneo Policy Center researcher, attended the Economics of Tobacco Control Initiative Workshop co-organized by Canada’s International Development Research Centre (IDRC) and Cancer Research UK (CRUK) in London, United Kingdom. The workshop gathered participants spanning 20 countries worldwide funded by IDRC to produce policy-relevant research on tobacco control. Read More...
