Interested applicants must be under 40 years of age by 01 October 2018, and must have at least four years of professional experience in law or in government.  Applicants must submit the following requirements:
·        Completed application form
·        Health certificate from a medical institution
·        Birth certificate issued by the NSO in 2017
·        Recommendation letter from current employer or academic supervisor in the applicant’s law school

Application packets are available at the ALS Graduate Legal Studies Institute (GLSI) Office (Room 305 of the Ateneo Professional Schools). The forms may also be downloaded from the Japan Embassy website (http://www.ph.emb-japan.go.jp/itpr_en/00_000350.html).  All applications documents must be submitted to the GLSI on or before 29 September 2017, 5pm.  After paper screening and interview, ALS will endorse the application documents of qualified applicants to the Embassy of Japan.  The Embassy does the final screening of applications.
