Ryan Jeremiah Donato Quan is the Coordinator of the Law School’s Graduate Legal Studies Institute, where he works on curriculum enhancement, academic linkages, and research initiatives.  He also chairs ALS Legal Research and Writing Department.  He previously directed the Ateneo Human Rights Center’s internship program, and also worked on human rights issues and concerns of women, children, indigenous peoples, and the environment.  He has published works on paralegal education, labor and environmental issues, gender and women’s rights, and human trafficking.  Apart from teaching in the Law School, he is also an Asst. Professorial Lecturer at De La Salle University-Manila’s and a Lecturer at the Far Eastern University Institute of Law.

Ryan completed his undergraduate degrees in De La Salle University-Manila in 2004 and obtained his J.D. from ALS in 2008.  Recently, he was conferred a Master of Laws degree, summa cum laude by the University of Notre Dame Law School, where he was also a scholar of Notre Dame’s Center for Civil and Human Rights.
