Biography: 

Patricia Sta. Maria is currently an Associate Solicitor II with the Office of the Solicitor General. Previously, she served as an Executive Assistant V to former Solicitor General Florin Hilbay. She teaches Legal Research and Fundamentals of Thesis Writing at the Ateneo Law School and has taught Philosophy of Law and Constitutional Law II at the Far Eastern University Institute of Law.

 

She earned her Bachelor or Arts in Political Science, cum laude, from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2011. In 2015, she graduated from the Ateneo Law School as class valedictorian and was also the recipient of the Dean's Gold Medal for Best Thesis. She served as an editor of the Ateneo Law Journal from 2012 to 2015, including one year as a member of its Executive Committee.
