ALS hosts 1st Pilot (Mock) Bar Exams

February 03, 2021

#BarMunaBagoJowa were printed on the shirts of Supreme Court Personnel a day before the 1st Pilot (Mock) Bar Exams. They were holding a dry-run with Ateneo Personnel for the said event, determined to live-up to the challenge of holding the #BestBarEver, another hashtag coined by the Bar Chairperson himself, Supreme Court Justice Marvic M.V.F. Leonen. With the procedure in place and some last-minute adjustments made, the Ateneo Law School was ready to host the first-ever digital and localized (mock) Bar Exams.

As announced by the Supreme Court, the upcoming Bar Exams in November 2021 will be digital. Examinees will download the exams on their own laptops, type, and upload their answers. There will be several testing sites. Hence, examinees in the provinces do not need to go to Metro Manila to take the bar examinations. These are major changes in the conduct of the Bar Exams.
