Consistent with its campaign promise, the Duterte administration has demonstrated a significant degree of political will to curb the proliferation of illegal drugs in the country in the past two years. Criticisms against and justifications for the policy’s effectiveness have divided the Filipino people as well as the institutions that comprise the government. Given the various opinions surrounding the said policy, there is an increasing demand for objective analyses that will provide clarity on its execution.

On JUNE 25, 2018, the Ateneo School of Government, through the Ateneo Policy Center, in partnership with De La Salle Philippines and Columbia Journalism School - The Stabile Center for Investigative Journalism, will explore the government's Anti-Drug Campaign through an evidence-based approach.
