Photo Pray: A New Commandment

The above words are found in today’s verse before the gospel (Jn 13:34). Jesus, knowing that the time of His death is drawing near, shares His last supper with His disciples. As He spends His last moments with His friends and brothers, He once more expresses to them how deeply His love is for them by washing their feet. He tells them these words before He moves on to do his greatest sacrifice for all—to die on the cross so as to deliver humanity from the darkness.
