In celebration of the month of the Holy Rosary, the Ateneo de Manila High School is currently holding a Marian exhibit that features different images of our Blessed Virgin.

Titled “Ave,” the exhibit at the St. Stanislaus Kostka Chapel, Ateneo de Manila High School showcases images and statues of our Holy Mother from the collections of individuals, families, parishes, and priests from places like Bulacan, Quezon City, and even Batangas.

The exhibit is part of a series of activities this October, which is the  month of the Holy Rosary. Other activities include block rosaries in classes and offices and a living rosary held  October 7 during the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. This is a project of the Makibaka para sa Magiging Madasalin, an arm of the High School Sanggunian.

“The exhibit aims to aid the students to become more devoted, knowledgeable, and closer to the Blessed Virgin Mary,” said Mr. Vince Loiz, moderator of the Council of Student Organizations. He added, “By knowing her (Blessed Virgin Mary’s) attributes, by knowing the virtues she possesses as represented by the images, we become closer to her and we could come to love her more.”

The exhibit is open until October 17.
