Eaglets ranked #2 after UAAP 76 round one; Ravena leads MVP race

As reported by Reuben Terrado on Spin.ph, the Ateneo de Manila Blue Eaglets are ranked #2 (behind the National University Bullpups) at the end of the first round of eliminations of UAAP Season 76 's juniors basketball championship. Playing on this page are video highlights from the last game the Eaglets played in round one, which was against the UST Tiger Cubs. The game took place last August 3 at the FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan, and marked the Eaglets' fourth consecutive victory. Their win-loss record at the end of round one is 5-2.
 
Terrado also reports in the same article that Blue Eaglet Thirdy Ravena (4-F 2014) is currently leading the race for the UAAP juniors Most Valuable Player award. According to UAAP Season 76 stats, Ravena averaged 19 points, 9.4 rebounds and 4.1 assists in seven games, compiling 74.4286 statistical points.
