Henry Fernando (IV BS ME/AB PH and AHS A2010) is awarded Top Intern in Procter & Gamble’s Summer Internship Program 2013
Last June 21, 2013, Procter and Gamble had their Intern Graduation and Enrique Benjamin R. Fernando III (Henry), an Ateneo de Manila University senior double major student in BS Management Engineering and AB Philosophy, was awarded the “Best Intern” of their program. In the afternoon of June 30, Ateneo de Manila Junior High School student Manuel “Mik” Balce III of 8-Berchmans emerged as the champion of the 2nd Coach Anthony Tordesillas Memorial National Age Group Tournament, 14 under boys’ division.  En route to the finals, Mik beat Gabriel Oviedo, 6-0, 6-0 in the round of 16; Joseph Gadon 6-2, 6-2 in the quarters; and no. 2 seed Jake. Of the more than 2400 students who were enrolled at the Ateneo de Manila High School during school year 2012-2013, only one got a QPI of 4.00 and straight A’s for deportment in the third term. At the conclusion of the Ateneo Junior Summer Seminar (AJSS) 2013 last May 25, then-incoming Ateneo de Manila High School senior Rafael “Red” Abella Dimaano of A2014 was named Valedictorian of the batch, besting 75 of his co-participants. He also received awards for Best in Mathematics and Best in Philosophy. As valedictorian of AJSS 2013/Batch 46, Red will receive a 100% scholarship. MORE...
