Atenean places 4th in 2016 Chemistry Licensure Exam
James Nicolas M. Pagaduan was 4th among the top ten examinees of the 2016 Chemistry Licensure test given by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). The exams were held last October 4-5, 2016.
Pagaduan (BS Chemistry, 2015; BS Materials Science Engineering, 2016) graduated magna cum laude and ranked 89.5% in the exam.
He shared that through Ateneo education, he had come to realize that every person was called to be a co-creator with God.
"The Ignatian value of cura personalis (care for the entire person) was tenderly instilled in my being, enriching my reality from a solitary 'I am' to a mutual 'we are,'" he said. "I have been transformed into a person who desires to let others witness and fathom chemistry in a different level."
He also believed that everyone can be partners of God for social change. "I want to transpire my belief into practice by remaining committed to the service of nation through science and technology,” he said.
Aside from him, there were 13 more Ateneans who passed the licensure exam:
1. Chua, John Ross Ngo
