Bonfire celebrates UAAP Season 81 champions

The Ateneo de Manila University community gathered at the Ateneo Grade School grounds on Saturday, December 15, 2018 to honor the Ateneo athletic teams for their victories in the UAAP Season 81.

Dubbed "Bonfire of Champions, the event honored the victories of various Ateneo teams who emerged as champions: High School Baseball, Women's Fencing, Women's Badminton, FAST swimming teams and Men's senior basketball.

University Chaplain and Director for Alumni Relations Fr. Norberto Bautista, SJ, leads the community in a prayer.

University President Fr. Jose Ramon T. Villarin, SJ congratulates the students for their outstanding performances.

The Ateneo Blue Babble livens up the crowd with their cheers and stunts.

Ateneo FAST swimming team thanks the crowd for their support.

o-time Olympian Jessie Lacuna receives the Xavier Excellence Award for his outstanding contributions to the swimming team.
