PLUMBER/WELDER (Central Facilities Management Office)
This position reports to the Section Head of the Facilities Management Office.
a. Receives instructions and or work orders from the Section Head
b. Takes charge of planning, scheduling of work and assignment of personnel in the Electrical / RAF/AC Section
c. Performs preventive maintenance of the University’s electrical equipments (e.g. transformers, capacitors, generators).
d. Performs installation of electrical wirings and other electrical equipment and fixtures.
e. Repairs busted electrical equipment and fixtures.
f. Attends to emergencies concerning electrical problems.
g. Serves as stand-by electrician during special events as required.
h. Conducts monthly electric meter reading for the monthly billing.
i. Assists electrical contractors during inspections and repair works within the University.
j. Provides assistance in other sections as needed.
k. Performs other duties that may be assigned
1. Vocational course on Electrical, TESDA certificate is required.
2. With at least 1 year of related work experience
3. Knowledge on industrial motor control
4. Skills in customer service and communication
