Alpheus Llantero wins his second Palanca Award

Ateneo Senior High School student Alpheus Matthew Llantero of GA/12-Carvalho has won his second Carlos Palanca Memorial Award for Literature. His entry, "The Adventure of an Alien and the Matalino Kid," was adjudged First Prize winner in the English Kabataan essay category by the Board of Judges.  Exactly a year ago, Alpheus' essay about social media's effects on the identity of the youth was adjudged the Third Prize winner in the 2016 Palanca Awards' English Kabataan essay category.  

Alpheus will receive his second Palanca Award at the awarding ceremony on September 1, 2017.
