Ateneo places 2nd in UAAP 82 juniors boys fencing championship

Ateneo de Manila University finished the junior boys division of the UAAP Season 82 fencing championship in second place, behind champion University of the East (UE). Ateneo’s medal haul of one gold, one silver, and four bronzes from five events were contributed by two junior high school boys and eight senior high school boys. The medal tally of Team Ateneo in the junior boys division is as follows:

Gold in team sabre: Andre Agatep (10-Zuraire), Ram Jimenez (11-Escribano), Enrico Suplico (11-San Vitores), and Larco Cortez (11-De Brito)  
Silver in individual saber: Enrico Suplico
Bronze in team foil: Aidan Reyes (12-Acquaviva), Ram Jimenez II, Seth Cucio (12-Holland), and Alessandro Arrevalo (12-Acquaviva)
Bronze in team épée: Seth Cucio, Jan Aguilar (12-Xavier), Iñigo Gascon (12-Evans), and Joaquin De Los Santos (8-Azevedo). 
Bronze in individual foil: Seth Cucio and Aidan Reyes 

The UAAP Season 82 Fencing Championship was held from Feb. 11 to 14, 2020, at the Paco Arena.
