Nathan Batnag wins silver for PH in int’l science competition

Recent Ateneo de Manila Junior High School completer Nathan Batnag (Cardoner/10-Chabanel in SY 2020-2021) secured a silver award for the Philippines in the Secondary 4/Grade 10 division of the Vanda International Science Competition 2021, which was held virtually on May 22, 2021. In addition, he was ranked 1st in school, 3rd in the Philippines, and 26th globally among silver awardees in the secondary 4/ grade 10 division.

Nathan is one of the Filipino medalists who harvested a historic haul of 29 golds, 36 silvers, 62 bronzes, and 30 honorable mention awards at the competition.  

Vanda is an annual international science competition which gathers the sharpest critical and creative thinkers from Grade 3 to Grade 11 to solve questions using higher order thinking skills following the Singapore School Science syllabus.
