Darren Uy wins silver for PH in Robotics and Computational Thinking competition

Recent Ateneo de Manila Grade School graduate Darren Uy (6-Xavier in school year 2020-2021) won a silver award for the Philippines in the primary 6 division of the Design Thinking With Robotics and Computational Thinking (DrCT) International Competition. In addition, he was also ranked 1st in school, 3rd in the country, and 3rd globally among silver medalists in his division.

Held online on April 10, 2021, DrCT is a global contest in Informatics which nurtures students’ creativity, logical reasoning, and algorithmic & computational thinking skills. It facilitates a deeper understanding of the world around the learners as they use design thinking methodology to develop solutions for problems by leveraging the power of computers and information technology.
