About AMPLify

Ateneo de Manila University established the Ateneo Molecular Pathology Laboratory (AMPLlify) in response to the nation’s call for more diagnostic facilities to help ramp up testing capacity as one way to fight the pandemic caused by the sars-cov-2 and all other notifiable infectious diseases.

AMPLify was granted a License To Operate by the Department of Health – Health Facilities and Services Regulatory Bureau effective 23 March 2021. It is a laboratory with biosafety level 2 (BSL2) containment status that is designed in accordance with the provisions of the World Health Organization. The facility offers RT-PCR testing services for the detection of SARS-CoV-2 (the causative agent of COVID-19).

AMPLify is a project of Ateneo Research Institute of Science and Engineering which is under the School of Science and Engineering.
